CHAIRMAN

Torri is a Northeast Ohio native, Miami University graduate, and the current Chair of OYR and board member of CapCity YRs. She has been active in numerous campaigns from the local level to presidential. When she moved to Columbus, she joined the Ohio Senate where she worked on the legislative and political side, successfully managing four State Senate races. Now she serves as a regional liaison for Ohio Auditor of State Keith Faber. She is an alumnae of the Running Start Star Fellowship and the JoAnn Davidson Ohio Leadership Institute. In addition to politics, Torri spends time spoiling her pup Lilly and coaching figure skating.

CO-CHAIR & NATIONAL COMMITTEEWOMAN

Ashley serves as Co-Chair and is also Ohio’s committee woman for the Young Republican National Federation. Ashley has been involved in Republican politics since birth (literally) and has volunteered on campaigns from city council to the presidential level. She also serves as the President of the Lake County Young Republicans who won Chapter of the Year in Ohio for 2020. Ashley is also the Midwest Secretary for the Young Republican National Federation Board. Ashley attended Kent State University and was a member of the Kent College Republicans. She was named "Ohio College Republican of the Year" in 2012. Professionally, she works in human resources for a Cleveland-area medical staffing company. Outside of politics, Ashley is a die-hard Kentucky Wildcats fan, she loves her dog, Athena, is a lover of all things Lilly Pulitzer.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Cody Pettit is a Zanesville City Councilman and the Executive Director of the Ohio Young Republicans. He is also the Chairman and Founder of the Muskingum Young Republican Club. Cody has volunteered on numerous campaigns since he started volunteering with the party in 2008. He is very engaged in his community being an active member of the Zanesville Noon Rotary and the creator of a young professional group in Muskingum County.

Treasurer

Mike Ringle serves as our treasurer. He is an Orange Township Trustee (Delaware County), and active member of the Delaware County GOP.

SECRETARY

A Summit County native, Kayla is a graduate of the University of Akron where she received a BA in Political Science, Philosophy, and Economics. She is a member of the board of directors for a local non-profit supporting women and children throughout northeast Ohio and volunteers her time as a mentor with South Akron Youth Ministries. She is a recent inductee to the Greater Akron Chamber's 30 for the Future for her professional and philanthropic accomplishments.

She proudly serves as Chair of the Summit County Young Republicans and on the Ohio Republican Party's State Central Committee for the 27th District. In her free time she explores park districts with her goldendoodle, Harvey.

EXECUTIVE VICE CHAIR

David Kalk currently serves as Campaign Manager for U.S. Congressman Dave Joyce in Northeast Ohio. He was elected to two terms as State Chairman of the Ohio College Republicans before joining the Young Republicans State Board. David is a graduate of The Ohio State University where he also served as Chairman of the OSU College Republicans chapter. He also serves as a county captain for the reelection campaigns of Governor Mike DeWine and Secretary of State Frank LaRose.

NORTHWEST REGIONAL VICE CHAIR

Patrick was elected to Sylvania City Council in 2017 at the age of 26. He is a lifelong resident of Sylvania and a graduate of Sylvania Northview High School and the University of Toledo. At UT, he was the Chairman of the College of Republicans and the Drum Major of the Rocket Marching Band. he is also an Eagle Scout with Sylvania Troop 154 and works for Kripke Enterprises in Toledo.

CENTRAL REGIONAL VICE CHAIR

Tanner Salyers is from Knox County and currently serves as the Knox County Recorder.

SOUTHWEST REGIONAL VICE CHAIR

Alex Scharfetter is Southwest Regional and immediate past Co-Chair. Over the past decade he has served in various capacities for three members of Congress and helped run more than three dozen campaigns. Born and raised in Chillicothe, OH, Alex is a 2011 graduate of Wittenberg University. He currently lives in Cincinnati with his wife, Ashley, and their two sons.

SOUTHEAST REGIONAL VICE CHAIR

David Glass is Southeast Regional for Ohio Young Republicans. He also is the youngest County GOP chair in Southern Ohio, and represents the 17th Senate District on the Ohio Republican Party’s State Central Committee

NORTHEAST REGIONAL VICE CHAIR

David is from Ashtabula County and currently serves as the Ashtabula County Auditor.
